Version 1.0

The Radar Image Oil Spill Seeker (RIOSS) Version 1.0 is a Python code as work a machine learning system for detecting oil spills on sea surface through SAR images. This system was developed to support scientific studies on ocean oil spills, through an open and collaborative code, which is available on RIOSS' GitHub. This version uses a random forest classifier algorithm that is applied to SAR images from Sentinel-1 in SLC and GRD acquisition modes.
